R-Mean drops "Save Me," featuring Kyle Christopher.
Just in time for Easter, R-Mean released the 16th edition of his Mean Monday series. Featuring singer/songwriter Kyle Christopher, "Save Me" is about the L.A. rapper's struggle with his own spirituality.
In an often treacherous recording industry, R-Mean spits that he strives to stay faithful to the Lord's message. He implores God to "save" him. He says the things he's seen helps him finds solace in God's power. And despite being a sinner, he always finds his way back to the straight and narrow path, and hopes that it will always be there to "save" him.The production and lyrics are reminiscent of Eminem's best "Not Afraid"-type songs infused with a healthy dose of religion.

I feel the pain behind his anger
He just mad that we switched
'Cause we used to be God's children
Now we Babylon's kids
Sorry that we let you down
